Devonshire surroundings
It would be difficult to exaggerate the beauty of the location of these cottages. Just a few miles in one direction brings you to the City of Exeter with it's beautiful Cathedral and it's interesting shops, both new and old. About the same distance in the opposite direction would take you to the English Riviera with the famous holiday destinations of Torquay, Brixham, or Teignmouth. Torquay for the golden beaches, Brixham for the fresh fish to bring home for your supper, and Teignmouth for a more relaxed seaside experience.
For your satellite navigation the postcode is TQ13 0NR. Both my sat nav systems find it with that code however some don't but Trusham is quite small and everyone knows the Cridford.
Just along the coast from Teignmouth is Dawlish Warren, with it's famous nature reserve - remember to bring your binoculars if you want to watch birds.
Just round the corner from the cottages is the Exeter forest. 1000's of acres of peace and tranquility watching the deer, or for the more enthusiastic, hire cycles and ride the miles of forest trails. At the bottom of the valley you can find the beautiful Canonteign Falls - a fantastic walk for all with a cafe at the end to refresh you before you bound off for further attractions.
The cottages are also conveniently positioned next to the Cridford Inn so you don't even have to cook if you feel like collapsing and letting someone else look after you. The menu page will show a representative menu for the Inn. The welcome pack provides the latest menu. And for the true lovers of luxury the Inn offers a breakfast option that will live with you for ever.
